Career Counselling and Guidance Session
A special session was held on career counseling and guidance at DPGA on 29th June, 2019. This session, which was held for parents and students of Grade 8 and above, was conducted by Mr. Dhananjay Sohani, parent of Prachit Sohani, an alumni of DPGA.Mr. Sohani provided first hand information and guidance to all parents about the process or admission of their wards in international universities. He emphasized on creating a sound profile for the student and how parents, school and career counseling sessions can play a pivotal role for the same. Prachit Sohani also shared his experience and narrated the ways in which his learning as an IBDP student has helped him in seeking admission in the U.S. Mr. Sohani also answered various questions posed by parents of students who were willing to learn more from this useful session. This session was a sequel of a programme that was held for grade 11 and 12 students by our alumni who acquainted their juniors about the various requirements for getting into their college of choice after finishing school and how they could choose the best option that is suitable to each one of them. Both these programmes were just another one in a series of events that are held exclusively under our school and parent- community collaboration.
