Excitement filled the air as the much-awaited Inter-house Cultural Competition “CRESCENDO” commenced. This extravagant celebration showcased the musical talents of each house “Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire and Topaz”, with students coming together to create euphonic melodies and captivating rhythms. The air was filled with anticipation as the audience eagerly awaited the battle of harmonies. Each house had meticulously prepared their performances, incorporating a wide range of instruments and vocal arrangements to create a truly mesmerizing experience. The stage was set ablaze by the unforgettable display of musical artistry, where words would indeed leave off and music would take centre stage.

The event consisted of numerous categories to excel at. Each house was allowed two participants for the solo categories for dance, singing and instrumental performance. One group each for the group dance and singing category.

Additionally, the event provided an opportunity for students to learn and exhibit valuable life skills such as perseverance and tenacity. Not only did the battle of harmonies showcase the students’ musical talents, but it also emphasized the importance of teamwork and collaboration.

Overall, the battle of harmonies was not just a musical competition but a transformative experience that enriched the students’ lives in more ways than one. Regardless of the house, there was a roar of applause and a sense of admiration for outstanding performances. The event ended on a high note as the trophies were presented to the top three winners in each category and an overall trophy for the highest scoring house in the competition.
