At DPGA we completely understand the importance of a child’s growth and the sensitive role of parents along with teachers, keeping this in mind DPGA Panvel organized Parent Orientation Programme 2019-20 on 15th June, 2019 in the School Auditorium.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome to the parents by Ms. Padmapriya followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. Ms. Shraddha Sardesai, our school principal addressed the gathering. In her speech she focused on nurturing a child with love and care to build a strong foundation for their glorious future. Dr. Latha Venkataraman, our school director enlightened the gathering about the vision and philosophy of the school. She emphasized on the holistic development of children which is the main aim of the school. It was followed by a session taken by Ms.Sarah Kurian, the school psychologist. She guided the parents on physical and mental nutrition. She emphasized on “The Dangers of Distracted Parenting” and also made aware that mental wellbeing is as important as physical wellbeing.
Later, the core team members of Early Years were introduced followed by the subject teachers.The programme concluded with an interactive parent- teacher session in the respective classrooms.
