Global Village 2018

Dr. Pillai Global Academy, New Panvel staged a conceptual theme of “Global Village” on 4th September, 2018 in partnership with AIESEC, the world’s largest non-profit youth-run organization which is an international non-governmental not-for-profit organization that provides young people with leadership development, cross-cultural global internships and volunteer exchange experiences across the globe. It was a unique experience wherein students interacted with delegates from different countries like Spain, France, Turkey, Germany, Italy, etc. to understand their culture, tradition, food and culinary, etc. This event was a perfect blend to match with our school’s mission which embraces the IB philosophy to inculcate international mindedness through its entire community. The delegates were effective in making students’ interactive sessions fun-filled through the various activities staged by them in their respective countries. The theme of Global Village paved a way for the multi-lingual and intercultural exchanges among the delegates, students and teachers within the school campus.
