In the illustrious words of Dr. Rajendra Prasad, “A nation that doesn’t embrace its language and literature can never truly thrive.” Hindi, our cultural heartbeat, transcends mere words – it’s a symphony echoing our rich heritage.
At DPGA, Hindi week unfurled as a vibrant tapestry, nurturing young minds through various activities designed to sculpt language proficiency and a fervent love for the language.
The jubilant celebrations commenced with the ceremonious lighting of the lamp, honouring the luminaries of Hindi literature. Ms. Sushila Mishra kindled our spirits, illuminating the essence of Hindi Diwas, while the comperes Tanvi Agarwal and Krishnakant Shrivastava steered the audience through the festivities.
The auditorium became a canvas as classical dancers wove tales through graceful movements, setting the stage for a melodic journey embracing the soulful essence of Hindi music. Grade 9 students, through their spirited ‘Nukkad Natak’ performance on environmental conservation, embodied passion and purpose.
The ‘Kavi Sammelan’ emerged as a kaleidoscope, painting vibrant hues of Hindi literature, a testament to the poetic diversity echoed by participants from different grades. Grade 9 students, in their lively enactment of the skit ‘Andher Nagari’ spun laughter with their comic finesse.
The event came to an end with motivational speech by Ms Mable Pillai and appreciation by the Principal, Mr. Prakash Nair. Hindi Diwas celebration serves as a poignant reminder to cherish and respect our language and culture.
