Picnic to Lonavala

The students of Grade 3, 4 and 5 went for an overnight picnic to Lonavala and spent time at Zara Resort, on the 5th and 6th February, 2014. They visited the famous Wax Museum, Bushy Dam, Chikki factory and the Jain temple. Children enjoyed activities like rifle shooting, creating handicrafts and conceiving an advertisement. They participated in a talent show and showcased their skills in dancing, singing, mono acting and sharing jokes. The teachers also participated in the Talent Show.

The overnight picnic was a real treat for the kids as they got a chance to travel and spend the night with their friends. It was hard to go to sleep for the children even after bedtime was announced. The time they spent on the bus and the games they played after dinner gave them lasting memories.
