Gokul Ashtami was an occasion of fun and frolic, an absolutely exhilarating time for all the dancing and frolicking young little Govinda’s and Radha’s from the Early Years section! To celebrate the birthday of Lord Krishna, a special celebration was organized for the little ones on 23rd August, 2019 at Dr. Pillai Global Academy in the assembly area.
The upbeat mood for the Dahi Handi Celebration was all set by feet tapping songs and the festive attire in which the young students were decked up.Beautiful decorations with flowers were put up with ‘Matki’ to make this event more cheerful and colorful. A ‘MatkiPhod’ event was also organized to mark the mischievous nature of ‘BalGopal’. The Principal Ms. Shraddha Sardesai also participated in the celebration with great zeal.
To conclude, the day was celebrated amidst merriment by the students and all the staff members.
