This year DPGA celebrated Children’s Day with great zeal and zest. The school buzzed with excitement and joy as the teachers arranged a plethora of events to make this day a grand splendour. An array of events began with the dynamic entry of our hosts who enthusiastically navigated the programme for the day. They unveiled the first performance, a charming duet between the violin virtuosos, Ms. Mabel Pillai and Mr. Prasun Lomjail. Next event was an exhilarating dance performance on rock’n’roll music by Ms. Anu Chabbra and her team. This was followed by a mellifluous rendering of foot tapping music by Ms. Simrit Jude and Ms. Samintha Perera.
Adding to the fun were a plethora of innovative and engaging games conducted by Ms Ankita Nath and her team which thoroughly entertained the “GEN Z”.
Along with the fun and frolic, Ms. Smitha Kurup shared some personal anecdotes emphasising the need to believe in positivity and true will power. Later, the students were enthralled by a musical recital by Ms. Sharmista Ghosh and her team. This was followed by a surprise rap performance by the Principal, Mr. Prakash Nair which left the audience flabbergasted. Adding on to the exuberance was a scintillating dance routine by the Performing Arts team, who dressed up as iconic cartoon characters, grooved to the beats of famous Bollywood numbers. The auditorium resonated with electrified cheers of the students thus ending a fabulous and enchanting Children’s Day celebration. The event concluded with a heartwarming vote of thanks articulated by Ms. Aarti Patil.
