Fundraising for Aai Daycare Centre

IBDP year 2 students raised funds and donated teaching aids and other necessities to the specially – abled children of Aai Day care and Rehabilitation Centre that also runs vocational courses and skills development in specially challenged inhabitants of the centre. The items that were procured and donated were: candle moulds and colouring books. The students also helped the centre in creating teaching aids and gifts for the children of the centre. Students interacted with the inhabitants to understand their problems and develop a sense of empathy among them. The collection of the funds and procurement of the items was conducted by the students in fulfilling their CAS goals and attaining lifelong learning.
