Independence Day 2022

Dr. Pillai Global Academy, New Panvel celebrated the 75th Independence Day on 15th August at the school premises.

The National Flag was unfurled by the Head Girl of the school Ms. Riya Gairola accompanied by the Principal Ms. Shraddha Sardesai and Vice Principal Mr. Prakash Nair. This was followed by singing the National Anthem. It felt as if the National Anthem was being sung by the soul of each and every member of the DPGA family present at the venue.

There was a flag song sung by Mr. Hitesh from the Performing Arts Department which enhanced the patriotic fervour even more.

There were gripping and thought-provoking speeches in English, Hindi and Marathi by the following students: Antony Dawson [Grade 11], Anshpratap Singh [Grade 7] and Ananya Marathe [Grade 6]. These speeches gave a clear insight of what the youth is prepared to do for India.

Indeed the feeling of unity and brotherhood was felt in every corner of DPGA.
