Independence Day & Parent Art Exhibition 2018

15th August, 2018 – A day of bringing alive the glorious achievements of Free India, a day to remember our past leaders and martyrs who willingly undertook sacrifices so that future Indian citizens can breathe the air of Freedom and Prosperity was celebrated with due solemnity and splendor at DPGA play-ground. At sharp 8.00 a.m., the national flag was hoisted by the Head-Girl followed by the national anthem and the Director’s address to the assembly i.e. students, parents and staff.

The congregation, then moved to the school assembly area where an Art Exhibition was formally inaugurated by the Principal. It was an eclectic collection of artworks since three artists – Ms. Yukti Shah, Ms. Chitrapriya Paital and Mr. Dinesh Kansara’s (i.e. DPGA Parents) paintings were displayed. The multitude had a visual treat. This was followed by a friendly football match: Parents Vs Staff. It was an entertaining spectacle. By 12 p.m., the gathering dispersed taking away happy memories of India’s – 72nd Independence Day celebration at DPGA, New Panvel.
