On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, psychology students from AS, A Levels, IBDP1 and IBDP2 organised Euphorify – The Metanoia Event. The students had set up stalls which aimed to spread awareness about mental health. Each stall had four students conducting various games, debates and discussions on the topic.
Students from Grades 9 to 12 attended the event, eager to learn about helping their friends and family through tough times. They were enlightened on how to help themselves and other people facing mental health issues the right way. Following this, the students were guided to expressive arts therapy, here they were required to meditate and illustrate their sensations and emotions without conversing.
The event concluded with constructive insights from the attendees which was a motivating factor for the organisers.
