Trip to Franav Farms (Grades 1 and 2)

It is rightly said that “Adventure is not in where you go; it is in the freedom to create and experience life.”

To create a memorable learning experience for the students of Grades 1 and 2, Dr. Pillai Global Academy organized a Picnic on 29th January, 2015 at Franav Farms located on Mumbai – Goa Highway near the beautiful terrain of Karnala Bird Sanctuary.

The students boarded the bus around 8:30 a.m. and reached the venue at 10:00 a.m. With much excitement, they explored the farm. They were fascinated by the turkeys they saw there.

After exploring the farm, they enjoyed breakfast in the garden.

There were a lot of activities arranged for the students. All of them enjoyed various sports including Rock climbing. They were even able to climb on cargo nets and enjoyed swinging on ropes.

At the end of the day, though the children were tired, their hearts were filled with joy and happiness. They all carried the memories of an amazing time spent with their friends in the lap of nature.
