An Enriching Excursion to the Hills

As the bus wound its way through the misty hills and cool mountain breeze brushed against their faces, the students knew they were about to create memories that would last a lifetime.

A trip to Mahabaleshwar and Panchgani was organized in November 2025 for students of Grades 3 to 5. The excursion was a delightful blend of excitement, discovery, and joyful learning.

One of the most memorable highlights was the visit to Mapro Garden. Surrounded by lush greenery, the students learned how jams and fruit syrups are prepared organically. The experience became even sweeter as they enjoyed tasting fresh strawberry treats, filling the garden with smiles and laughter.

Another fascinating stop was Katraj Zoo, which felt like stepping into a mini wildlife adventure. The students eagerly observed various animals and learned interesting facts about their habitats, eating habits, and the importance of protecting endangered species.

The visit to Sydney Point was truly breathtaking. The spectacular view of the sprawling valleys and rolling hills offered a peaceful moment to pause, admire nature, and click memorable photographs.

The excursion also included Table Land, famous for its vast open plateau that invited the children to explore freely. A visit to the cheese factory added a unique learning experience, where students discovered how different types of cheese are made and explored the wide variety available. The serene beauty of Venna Lake, with its calm waters and refreshing surroundings, provided the perfect ending to a wonderful journey.

Overall, the trip was not just an excursion but an enriching experience that beautifully combined learning with fun, leaving every student with cherished memories and valuable lessons beyond the classroom.
