The journey began with a visit to the National Institute of Oceanography, where students were introduced to the field of oceanography, where they gained insights into marine research and learnt how historical methods used to study the oceans have evolved over time with the introduction of advanced technology.

The tour further included a visit to the Panjim Church, offering deeper insight into Goa’s rich past. During the visit, students gained detailed knowledge about how Portuguese culture influenced Goa’s architecture, traditions, and way of life. While observing the surroundings, it was clear how old houses and churches reflected beautiful Portuguese designs. Many buildings featured arched windows, bright pastel-coloured walls, and red-tiled roofs.

The journey continued with a visit to the famous Fort Aguada, one of the best-preserved Portuguese forts in Goa, where students learned about its historical significance. The fort also featured a digital museum, offering interactive displays and audiovisual presentations that provided meaningful insights into Goan culture.

The trip included many more exciting destinations, including the Mangeshi Temple, known for its intricate architecture, and the Big Foot Museum, which provided a glimpse into Goan village life and traditional crafts.
