Children’s Day 2014

The 21st November, 2014 was a day marked with great excitement and joy at DPGA, New Panvel. As this was the last day for the first term examination, the teachers of DPGA celebrated Children’s Day by organizing an entertainment programme for the students in the school auditorium.

The function was a delight for the students as they witnessed their teachers like never before. Some of the programmes such as the English skit, Mind Your Language and the Hindi skit, April Fool’s Day, left the students in bouts of laughter as they enjoyed the humorous and witty sections of the plays. Students tapped their feet in their places as they sat in the auditorium and watched some of the teachers dance on their favourite songs. Group songs were sung by the teachers to celebrate the spirit of childhood. There were solo performances by Ms. Mabel Pillai, Ms. Medha Sahi and Mr. Satish More to entertain the children and set a musical ambiance for the programme. The message conveyed through the various programs in the function was that students should enjoy their childhood to the fullest.

The celebration was a great success and the students really enjoyed it. It has left the students with wonderful memories to cherish.
