Dress up and Speak Competition

Scholastic and co-scholastic activities have an equal importance in school programme for the all-round development of the child. Keeping this in view, Dr. Pillai Global Academy conducted the Dress Up and Speak Competition for the children of Grade 2 on 15th October, 2019. The purpose of conducting the competition was not only to blend learning with fun but also to develop confidence in the students by giving them an opportunity to speak in front of their own classmates. Children were dressed in their colourful costumes and spoke a few sentences on the character that they depicted. The effort and hard work of children was highly commendable. Students displayed their talents on the theme ‘Fairy-tale characters’ with great zeal and enthusiasm. They dressed up as Minnie Mouse, Witches, Aladdin, Robin Hood, Elsa, Red Riding Hood, Alice in Wonderland, Pied Piper, and Cinderella etc and emphasized upon their tremendous hard work and achievements. The competition proved to be great learning experience for the students and gave them a platform to explore their hidden talents.
