Investiture Ceremony 2017-18

The Investiture Ceremony held at Dr. Pillai Global Academy, New Panvel was conducted on 19th July, 2017. Compered by Radhika Jatia and Pranav Anand the ceremony started with the school prayer.

The Principal greeted the New House Masters and newly elected council members.

The students elected Kaustubh Sawant as the Head Boy and Vibhuti Verma as the Head Girl. The other members of the student council including the sports Captains, Cultural Captains, House Captains, Vice Captains, Prefects and the like shone and looked smart in the black council blazers.

The ceremony progressed with the handing over of the scrolls and the sashes to the new House Masters by the ex- House Masters. The handing over of the school flag from the ex-Head Girl to the new Head-Girl was done with equal gusto.

Finally the council members took the oath, which was followed by speeches by ex-Head Girl Anamika Jadhav sharing her experiences during her tenure.

The newly elected Head Boy and Head Girl also gave speeches communicating their motto for their upcoming tenure. They drew light to the motto: strength lies in differences not in similarities.

The Principal congratulated the newly elected council members and stressed on the significance of how responsibility strengthens an individual. She reminded them that they are the torch bearers of all the values that the school stands for and urged them to take up their responsibilities with commitment and integrity.

The ceremony concluded with the national anthem. Everyone present congratulated the council members and wished them good luck and great success for a fruitful year ahead.
