Guest Lecture by Mr. Mayur Kamath

In order to celebrate the golden jubilee of Mahatma Education Society, Dr. Pillai Global Academy, had initiated a series of guest lectures. All wildlife enthusiasts and eco warriors of DPGA, were filled with joy, as they learned about the arrival of Mr. Mayur Kamath, wildlife warden of Maharashtra, in their premises.

Mr. Mayur Kamath visited the school for a guest lecture on 8th January, 2020. He addressed the students of grades 6-12 on wild life trade. Students were appraised about the tortures and threats that various animals are put through, before they are exchanged illegally, between groups of people.

Students of DPGA, were fortunate enough to get valuable insights about the ground reality of wildlife conservation. Mr. Kamath also enlightened students about different methods in which they could act, to help save and nurture wild life. He encouraged them to do their bit, in saving the ecosystem and building a sustainable planet.

The session was engaging, interesting and highly enriching, for both students and teachers alike.
