National Youth Day

Swami Viveknanda’s birthday which falls on 12th January is celebrated as ‘National Youth Day’ or ‘Yuva Diwas’. This year the theme is ‘Indian youth for development, skill and harmony’.

Swami Vivekananda’s life and message are a source of perennial inspiration to us.

The students of Grades 3 to 5 brought alive the potent message of Swami Vivekanda in today’s assembly at DPGA, Panvel.

These young students dressed up as Swami Vivekananda, quoted some of his most inspirational sayings. The students had also made posters of Swami Vivekananda’s powerful sayings.

The teachers and students alike were thoroughly motivated by the special assembly. The Principal of DPGA, Panvel exhorted the students ‘to arise, awake and stop not till the goal is reached.’
