Graduation Day 2023

Graduation Day is a day filled with pride, joy and a sense of accomplishment for both graduates and their loved ones. The new graduates were ready to embrace the challenges of the future and make a positive impact on the world.

The Graduation Ceremony was hosted by Kaavya Aggarwal and Antony Dawson. There was excitement in the atmosphere as students in their complete academic regalia entered the venue, eager to receive their certificates and embark on the next chapter of their lives. The event was a grand celebration of academic achievements, personal growth and the bonds forged throughout their educational journey. The ceremony was adorned with a series of enchanting performances and heartfelt speeches, leaving an indelible mark on the memories of all in attendance.

The event commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp followed by a mellifluous violin performance by Mr. Prasun Lomjail. The delicate notes resonated through the hall, captivating the audience with each stroke of the bow highlighting the importance of nurturing artistic talents alongside academic pursuits. Later the spotlight shifted to an enchanting classical dance performance by students of IBDP1, Hamsini Sathuluri and Nishi Pawar. The graceful movements transported the audience into a world of elegance and cultural richness. The graduates were then called onto the stage to receive their hard-earned certificates. One by one, the beaming graduates accepted their diplomas, symbolizing the successful completion of their academic journey. The proud parents, teachers and friends applauded their achievements, marking a milestone in each student’s life.

The event continued with speeches from the graduates, offering reflections on their time at DPGA. Each student shared anecdotes, memories and gratitude for the knowledge and values imparted. These speeches were a testament to the personal growth, friendships and transformative experiences that shaped their character. To honour the unwavering support of parents, a special segment was dedicated to parent speeches. Emotions ran high as parents expressed their pride, love and hope for their children. Subsequently, the teachers shared their thoughts and experiences filled with admiration and wisdom. Finally, the event concluded with a vote of thanks from the IBDP and A-Level Coordinators, acknowledging the immense efforts put forth by everyone involved in organising the Graduation Day ceremony.

With certificates in hand and dreams in their eyes, the graduates of Dr Pillai Global Academy embarked on a new chapter in their lives, armed with knowledge, skills and values to shape a brighter future. The Graduation Day of 2023 was a celebration of accomplishments, friendships and the limitless potential within each individual.
